Leadership Camps and Conferences

Utah Business Week Utah State University Logo

UBW is a week-long summer program that gives high school students (incoming juniors and seniors) real life business experience. Students learn business tactics from top industry professionals while participating in a business simulation. Students create marketing materials, research and develop ideas, make decisions on pricing, and so much more. Students work within teams (companies) to create a product, design a logo, and produce a radio commercial. They then present their ideas, compete against other teams, and get judged by business professionals.

UBW will prepare students to enter the business world. They will rub shoulders with some of Utah’s most prominent business professionals. We also highlight up-and-coming young business professionals. It’s not all business, though. Students get to participate in dances, live entertainment, games, skits, and much more.

Latinos in Action Leadership Bootcamp

The LIA Youth Leadership Boot Camp provides hands-on leadership training for LIA youth and college students who are elected to LIA leadership positions in secondary schools and our college chapters. It is a four-day, three night camp intended to fortify youth with the tools, skills, and self-efficacy to succeed academically, as well as becoming visible leaders in their communities. College chapter students serve as mentors and counselors for the students, guiding them through their learning experience.

Youth city councils gather for training, collaboration, service, and fun! We have great speakers and other events, as well as lots of opportunities to get to meet new people.

USU Leadership Summit

USULC is a great opportunity for student government groups to fine-tune leadership skills and get fired up for the upcoming school year. This year's conference will allow students to build relationships with other student leaders from Utah and Idaho. This four day event is packed with great speakers, fun activities, plenty of food and our famous Aggie Ice Cream!
